Inner Life Work resources are therapist-designed educational tools for self-guided reflection. They are not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and they are not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. If you are struggling, please reach out to a qualified provider. Description

There is a particular kind of discomfort that comes not from falling apart, but from growing. You’re no longer who you were. You’re not yet who you’re becoming. And in that liminal space, most people are simply surviving it — rather than moving through it with intention.

Who Am I Becoming? was created for that space. This reflection journal uses ACT-based values clarification and identity work drawn from narrative therapy to help you get specific — not about who you’ve been or who you should be, but about who you’re actively choosing to become.

Unlike a daily journal, this one is designed to go slow. Each prompt is substantial enough to sit with for a week, a session, or a single quiet hour. You’ll explore the stories you carry about yourself, the roles that fit and the ones that don’t, what you need versus what you want, and the version of you that’s emerging on the other side of whatever you’re moving through.

Clinically informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and narrative therapy approaches. Powerful for personal use, and equally effective when used alongside therapy.
