These terms govern your use of innerlifework.com and your purchase of any digital product sold through it. Inner Life Work is operated by Bitini Pannell, LPC, in the State of Texas, United States.
By using this site or buying a product, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or buy from it.
1. What we sell
Inner Life Work sells digital products only — worksheets, journals, card decks, planners, prompt cards, and similar resources, delivered as downloadable files such as PDF and editable document formats. Nothing is shipped. There is no physical item.
Each product page states the format, the number of pages, which editions are included, and whether a file is print-only or fillable. That description is the specification of what you are buying.
2. Educational scope — this is not therapy
This is the most important term in this document.
Inner Life Work products are educational and self-guided materials. They are designed by a licensed professional counselor and informed by established therapeutic frameworks, but:
- Buying or using a product does not create a therapist–client relationship between you and Bitini Pannell, LPC, or anyone associated with Inner Life Work.
- The products do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
- They are not a substitute for assessment, therapy, counseling, medical care, medication, or individualized professional advice.
- They are not crisis support and must not be relied on in an emergency.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, stop and get help now. In the United States, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or call 911. Outside the United States, contact your local emergency number.
You use these materials at your own discretion and are responsible for your own decisions about your health and wellbeing. If you are currently in treatment, talk to your own provider before using a resource alongside it.
3. Professional-use products
Some products are sold for use by licensed clinicians and other professionals in their own practice. These are marked clearly on the product page.
If you buy a professional-use product, you are responsible for:
- Confirming that the material is appropriate for your client, your setting, and your scope of practice.
- Adapting any template to the requirements of your jurisdiction, your licensing board, your payers, and your own practice policies. Our templates are starting points, not compliant documents.
- Obtaining your own legal review of anything you use as a form, consent, intake, or record.
Inner Life Work is not responsible for how a professional-use product is applied in your practice.
4. Your licence to use what you buy
When you buy a product you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the files. You do not receive ownership of them.
Personal-use licence (default)
Unless the product page says otherwise, a purchase is a personal-use licence. You may:
- Download the files and keep your own copies.
- Print as many copies as you need for yourself and the people in your own household.
- Use the files on your own devices.
Professional-use licence
Where a product page states a professional-use licence, you may additionally use the material with your own clients within your own practice, in the manner described on that page.
What no licence permits
Under no licence may you:
- Resell, sublicense, rent, or otherwise distribute the files, in whole or in part, in any format.
- Share the files or your download links publicly, or upload them to a file-sharing service, drive, group, forum, or resource library.
- Reproduce the material in a product, course, membership, or publication of your own.
- Remove, obscure, or alter any Inner Life Work branding, creator credit, or copyright notice.
- Use the material or our brand to imply that Inner Life Work endorses you, your practice, or your product.
- Use the material to train a machine-learning or generative AI system.
5. Intellectual property
All content on this site — the products, product text, images, page copy, logo, name, and visual design — is owned by Inner Life Work or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you.
6. Prices, payment, and tax
- All prices are shown in United States dollars.
- Payment is taken at checkout by our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card details.
- Prices displayed exclude tax. Any applicable sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay, based on the billing address you enter.
- We may change prices at any time. The price that applies to your order is the price shown at the moment you complete checkout.
- Coupons and promotions are subject to their own stated conditions, cannot be combined unless we say so, and can be withdrawn at any time.
7. Delivery and access
Download access is granted as soon as payment succeeds. You will receive an order confirmation email containing your download links, and, if you have an account, the files also appear under Downloads in your account.
Download links do not expire and are not limited to a fixed number of uses, but they are personal to your order — see clause 4. If a link stops working, or your confirmation email does not arrive, email us and we will resend it.
Please check that your device can open the file format described on the product page before you buy. Fillable PDFs need a PDF reader that supports form fields, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader. Editable documents need a word processor that opens the stated format.
8. Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Accounts
An account is optional. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
We may suspend or close an account that is being used to breach these terms — in particular clause 4 — and may withdraw download access at the same time.
10. Acceptable use of the site
You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, interfere with its operation, scrape or bulk-download content, circumvent download controls, or use the site for anything unlawful.
11. Availability
We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of the site or any product at any time. If we withdraw a product you have already bought, your existing download access is not affected.
12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and the products are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any product will produce any particular result.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inner Life Work and Bitini Pannell, LPC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the site or any product. Our total liability arising out of or relating to any product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Inner Life Work and Bitini Pannell, LPC against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of a product, or, for professional-use products, your application of the material in your own practice.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas.
Before starting any formal proceeding, please email us. Most issues — a file that will not open, a duplicate charge, a missing receipt — are resolved the same day.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the version published at the time you complete checkout. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
